Have you ever wanted to run a game at Miscon or other conventions, but didn’t know how to go about it?
We have the solution!
Starting November 10th, 2012, at MisCon Fall Game Day, we’re hosting a GM’s Workshop for Game Masters on how to put together convention games. It starts at 1:00pm and will run until the topic is exhausted. Just like Game Days, this workshop is FREE.
Our team of veteran Game Masters, Marc Johnson, Justin Farrington, and CthulhuBob Lovely, will also be available at upcoming MisCon Game Days (January 12 and March 16, 2013) to mentor you through the creation process from start to finish.
Ideally, we’d like to help GMs create convention scenarios, playtest them at Winter or Spring Game Day, then run their games at MisCon 27 with full prize and game support. Running a game is not required to hang out and talk about convention GMing, though. (Everyone is welcome).
We hope to encourage new GMs to toss their hats in the ring and help enrich the Miscon gaming experience for everyone.
