Reaper Miniatures will be sponsoring a miniature painting contest at this years con. Note: All Reaper events will be on Saturday between 10 AM and 10 PM. The categories are:

    Never painted a figure before, but always wanted to try? Been painting for years and want to sit down and slap some paint around? Reaper Miniatures is once again sponsoring a paint and take table. Come pick out a figure and sit down, use our paints or your own, and enjoy this wonderful hobby. Reaper Demo Team members will be available to answer questions and help new painters get started. Everyone is welcome, all skill levels and all ages.
  • Event: One painter, one miniature, one goal: paint the figure in one hour.

    All skill levels are welcome and prizes will be awarded for beginner and advanced participants. All materials are provided for this event, but painters are welcome to bring their own brushes and paints. All painters will use the same miniature. If you've never experienced the speed paint contest, give it a try. It's a blast!
  • Event: Army Painting Made Easy

    There you sit, faced with a mountain of metal just screaming to be painted. You're tired of putting out unpainted minis, but who has the time to paint a whole army? Reaper Miniatures Demo Team members will share a few of the tricks that they have learned over the years and a few basics that can allow you to speed up your painting while still putting a great looking army on the table. We'll also show how even a few basic splashes of color can make a difference in how your army looks on the game table.

    Who is Lion's Pride and why have they kidnaped the Nation's leading scientists?

    'Ba of Sokar'
    The tomb raids are becoming more bold, striking deeper and deeper into the Nefsokar territory. Ancient temples are sacked, burial tombs desecrated, and sacred rituals carted off to be used for pagan rites by other nations. The Khamsin, nomads of the dessert, and no longer able to secure these items and hold back the surge of raiders, prompting Sokar himself to offer his divine intervention. Now Khufu, Sokar's Chosen one, has secured the most sacred of items: the Ba of Sokar. Now he and his forces find themselves surrounded by fortune seekers. Who will escape this valley with the Ba. Will it be Khufu and his tomb guards, seeking the Ba's protection, or one of the bands of Mercenaries seeking only treasure?

    'Slave Raid'
    The Overlords are on the move again. Across the plains of Taltos the slavers are ranging, looking for new slaves to harvest and sell in the markets of Craclaw. Now the Crusaders have taken up arms to stop their raids. They are soon to learn that slavery is a way of life in Taltos, and one could just as well try to hold back the tide as to cease the raids by the Overlords of Craclaw.

LAN: Mike Moceri has offered to run a LAN for us this year, but can use some help. We can use computers, CAT 5 Patch cables and surge protectors. Minimum system requirements:

    'Lost'
    The weather seemed perfect as you sailed the Aegean. You were due in Constantinople in just three weeks. But all that changes when the storm struck. With no warning the sky turned black and the sea became a savage beast. You awoke upon a strip of beach, the warm waters of the ocean lapping at your thighs. Around you lay the bodies of your fellow passengers and crew. Some stir with signs of life while others are twisted in grotesque fashion. From far off the beach you hear the sounds of something approaching.

    'The Roses of Sorrow'
    The town of Evensford is beset by a terrible plague of death and destruction. A seemingly random string of vicious and brutal murders has scared what was once a peaceful agricultural center. The local constabulary, quite unaccustomed to crimes of this sort, has found itself completely overwhelmed. The Lord Mayor, Dendrith Longplow, has called for your aid in freeing his town from this spectacle of madness. The only clues that have been found are the white roses left behind, scattered amongst the remains.
    Note: Bring your own characters, level negotiable

  • Game: LARP-Vampire the Masquerade

    'Thou Shalt Not Kill'
    The Prince of Prague is dead and his Seneschal has called an emergency meeting of the vampires in the city for two reasons. First, to find the Prince's murderer, and second, to declare as new prince. Of course everyone had a reason to kill the Prince, and everyone wants the position. What everyone does not know is that the murder is only the first of their problems.

  • Game: LARP: Fantasy-Harn.

    ‘One Wedding, One Death, A New King.’
    The aging king of Kaldor has been ill for devades. At the wedding of one of his many illegitimate sons, he finally passes away. With all the powerful nobles in attendance, the fate of the kingdom will be determined this night. Who will seize the throne? Was the death an accident? Who else has an interest or power over the realm of Kaldor?
    Note: A five hour live-action fantasy game based on Harnworld by Columbia Games.
    Costumes are appreciated but not required. Actual gameplay will use a live-action modified version of the Over the Edge ruleset designed for simplicity. Knowledge of Harnworld or Over the Edge is not required. All characters will be provided. Early sign up is encouraged, with characters being distributed early as requested.

  • Game: Rolemaster

    ‘In the City.’
    Refugees have headed north away from the army, and the half-demon Meredith has arrived in the great city of Rawnum accompanied by many of the refugees. But in the city there is a mysterious force waiting for her. Can the players save her, or should they let the demon-kin meet her fate?
    Note: A Rolemaster role-playing adventure, sequel to ‘Angel Tears’ and fourth in the ‘Invasion of Yinum’ series of MisCon adventures. Players have the option of making their own characters prior to the session (talk to the GM) or using a pre-generated character.

    ‘URC4-01: Beneath the Crossroads.'
    Part One of the Under Plot, Lordmaker 12
    Radigast City is under siege by the Lord of the East by day, while hordes of evil fiends roam the streets by night. Actually knowing a way out of the city is a comfort you don't possess, but at least lots of opportunities for death and dismemberm err, for glorious adventure abound! Look on the bright side. It will all be over before the night is done. A County of Urnst regional adventure.
    Note: Characters must play this adventure before playing URC4-02 The Making of a Lord. Characters that played URC4-03 Crossroads and URC4-04 The Lordmaker may not play this adventure. Players may play both the low and high level Lordmaker finale scenarios with two different characters.

    It seems Lord Jacobis Underley has your entire itinerary for today laid out. It's probably a fair return for his having saved all of you from being eaten by devils, but still. Who in their right mind would want to go wandering the streets of Radigast City in time of war? A County of Urnst regional adventure.
    Note: Characters must play URC4-01 Beneath the Crossroads before playing this adventure. Characters that played URC4-03 Crossroads and URC4-04 The Lordmaker may not play this adventure. Players may play both the low and high level Lordmaker finale scenarios with two different characters.

    Part One of the Lordmakers Finale, Lordmaker 14
    Soon the County of Urnst will be no more. The outer walls of Radigast City are under siege while the forces of Evil run rampant through the streets within. The Countess has not been seen for months now. Why is nothing being done? All that is left now is to prepare for the end A County of Urnst regional adventure.
    Note: Characters must play this adventure before playing URC4-04 The Lordmaker. Characters that played URC4-01 Beneath the Crossroads and URC4-02 The Making of a Lord may not play this adventure.     Rescue some cleric from a thousand year prison? Piece of cake! Hey, we're the greatest heroes in the land! We just proved it. Besides, the nobles said so. They wouldn't have lied just to build up our confidence, would they? A County of Urnst regional adventure.
    Note: Characters must play URC4-03 The Crossroads before playing this adventure.     ‘URC4-05: Restoration, Part 1.’
    Part One of the Restoration Series
    The bloody struggle to gain control of the County of Urnst has depleted many of the Countess' troops. Now is a vulnerable and critical time for the stability of the region, as protective forces are slowly restored to the pre-civil war numbers. Until such time, selfless heroes must ensure the safety of the people; for the Countess is not the only power rebuilding troops Part one of two. A County of Urnst regional adventure.

  • Game: RPGA-Living Greyhawk-1 Round-APLs 2 to 12.
    ‘URC4-06: Restoration, Part 2.’
    Part Two of the Restoration Series
    An evil alliance between the drow elves and the Kyuss worshippers has devastating effects throughout the County of Urnst. The drow raids during the night provide more and more corpses for the Kyuss clerics to bring back as undead forces. At least you no longer have to worry about the Masters a race of aliens that were resurrected in Crystal springs Or do you? Part two of two. A County of Urnst regional adventure.
    Note: It is not necessary to play URC4-05 Restoration to enjoy playing this scenario

    ‘URC4-07: The Past Shall Haunt Us.’
    The County of Urnst is still a dangerous place to call home. What new adventures will present themselves? Will they stem from mistakes in your past? The Countys past? Only time will tell. A County of Urnst scenario.

    ‘URC4-08:
    The war is remembered in stories but some problems have surfaced that still need to be fixed. The Hand and the Wizard have found a foothold in the County of Urnst and they need to be stopped. The trail may have gotten cold but it is still there to be found by thorough investigators.
    Note: This scenario is the sequel to URC3-03 The Truth Lies in Trigol, also by Michelle Lutz. Players need not have played Truth to enjoy this scenario.
