The Corminn Church, God of the Sky, and official religion of the Denzari empire was not happy with this turn of events, even less happy that some would turn away from their large churchs and ponderous ceremonies to listen to such a prophet. They arrested for being a heretic and sent her to be beheaded.
But the son of the Emperor had other thoughts - having listened and fallen in love with Elaina, he begged his father to pardon her. In an unpopular move, the Emperor declared that there must be a trial to determine Elaina's fate, appointing three judges, including the Archbishop of the Corminn church and appointing his son to defend Elaina.
Now the fate of a lady, a religion, and perhaps an Empire fall upon three judges and one day.

GM(s): Robert J Parker

In a (hopefully) ongoing series of games, the Cthuhlu Survivor Series will act as a showcase for the best in published scenario materials for Chaosium and various licensees. The Survivor Series will concentrate on slam-bang scenarios that deemphasize investigation and throw the PCs straight into the deep end, traditional tournament-game style. Players will need to be smart, resourceful, and lucky to make it through alive and sane. Are you up for the challenge?

This go-round will be highlighting the recent sister projects of Pagan Publishing, Final Flight and Mysteries of Mesoamerica. In Survivor Series #1, players will portray a university-sponsored field archeology team surveying a recent discovered ruin in the Yucatan circa 1914. This scenario, referred to as "The Boneyard" in-house at Pagan, should be enough to give even the most grizzled Call of Cthulhu players a run for their money. Join the mayhem!

Buffy The Vampire Slayer LARP (Buffy the Vampire Slayer RPG)
Sat, 17:00 - 23:00 PM,
Table: 41 [Room: Ruby's Fireside (0)]
GM(s): Sarah Zbinden

"In every generation there is a chosen one... she alone will stand against the vampires, the demons and the forces of darkness. She is the slayer."
Well, in almost every generation. In this universe Buffy Summers leapt into the gate opened by the Goddess Glorificus May 22, 2001 and never returned. In 2003 the First Evil made a strong foray against the Powers That Be and the forces of good and decimated the Watchers, the remnants of the Initiative, and several other good organizations. It was eventually thwarted by Willow, Faith, Giles, Xander, and several other “Scoobies.” This is all academic we are now in Eden Montana, 2010 a world away from the devastation where there is no new Slayer (at least none that anyone knows about), a skeleton of the Watcher’s council remains, and the Initiative has become officially disbanded, its activities patently illegal; but its precious few members carry on no matter what the cost, desperately facing the horrors that threaten mankind. But all is not lost, yet… While Sunnydale was destroyed in the battle against the First Evil there are still other hell gates that need defending, and still battles that must be fought.
Eden Montana was once home to one of those Hellgates. The last one was closed in late August 2009 or so many people thought, but now something has changed and the city seems to be up to it's old tricks. Can the students, faculty, and friends of Hellgate High School survive yet another Hellgate? Not if they can't find it.
ST: Buffy the Vampire Slayer RPG by Eden Studios. No LARP adjustments people, bring your d10, we are playing by the book. There will be a few house rules though! And we are using some of the expanded "Unisystem" rules.

Welcome to the Helgate, Eden Montana
Settled in the heart of Montana, the Big Sky Country, Eden is located in the verdant Hellgate valley settled next to Paradise River just 40 miles south of Great Falls Montana. Nestled in the rolling planes of central Montana at the eastern foot of the Little Belt Mountain Range, at the eastern most edge of the great Rocky Mountains Eden is surrounded by spectacular natural wonders and scenery. It is nestled between rich mining industry, productive farm land, cattle and sheep ranches.
The city was settled around the mighty Paradise River, one of nature's most attractive waterways. Eden is located in the old Hellgate river valley, which is cut through by the Paradise River. The Paradise River feeds into the Smith River on the Southwest edge of town. As the Paradise River weaves through the city it winds its way though 5 city parks.
Today this region is rich with wildlife. So it was millions of years ago. At Bone Mountain, just a few miles northeast of Eden, paleontological research has unearthed more than 300 duck-billed dinosaur egg specimens, along with many other important finds. Tours and artifacts of that site are available at the Old Trial Museum in the center of Olde Eden.
Olde Eden is the heart of the city. Set aside from the modern world it holds the past of the city and the memory of the Eden the used to be close to mind. It is a preserved area that attempts to keep everything as close to the original 1890 conditions as possible. A heart felt feeling for the history of the country side is evident in the friendly folks in town.
Lewis and Clark were the first known white explorers to catch sight of the area the Native American’s called “The Great Spirit’s Valley.”
The stage was set for the creation of the city of Eden. The rich history of Eden began in the year 1882 when the Honorable Ashton Eden first came to the present site of Eden.
Mr. Eden came west in May of 1882. He made plans for a city and then laid them out before James Hill, a man of great importance in the railroad industry. Hill gave his financial backing to Eden, knowing that a city in such an area would make a valuable connection for the railroads. Eden was founded two years later and incorporated in 1888.
Unlike many other western cities, Eden was planned by a practical and extremely thoughtful man. While organizing the town Eden made sure the streets were laid out in a precise, arrow- straight pattern, plus he set aside 886 acres for city parks. Eden believed beauty was important in a city and personally made sure that elm, ash, and fir trees were planted on every street and boulevard.
The city is home to the Hellgate Art Museum Complex, Eden Catholic University, Deep Springs National Park, and the Montana School for the Gifted, as well as the Eden Vipers Baseball team. The local newspaper is the Eden Tribune. And don’t forget the local High Schools, Hellgate Public High School [Go Demons!] and Our Lady of Lords Catholic High School [Go Angels!].
