Montana's Premier Science Fiction Convention

What is MisCon?

MisCon is a four-day celebration of literacy and the arts within the science fiction, fantasy, and horror genres. Held each Memorial Day weekend (Friday through Monday), MisCon has something to fascinate, educate, and entertain you at all times.

Register now to meet authors, artists, actors, and other professionals in the world of speculative fiction and science. Sign up for our Writer's or Art workshops. Enjoy discussion panels on art, writing, films, gaming, and other topics of interest. Play roleplaying, board, and card games in the gaming rooms. Participate in the costume contest, bid on artwork at our auction, browse our merchants' room, or just come to meet others who share your fandom of books, art, gaming, and crafts.

MisCon 27 Theme

Do you have a brown coat? A Wolverines sweatshirt? How about a green lightsaber? Are humans stealing your unobtanium? Is Skynet ruining your life? Is the Ministry of Magic keeping you down? Maybe you just like to struggle against authority. If you answered yes to any of these questions, you belong with the Resistance at MisCon 27! (And don't forget to put on your tin foil hat to block out the mind-control rays).

Our theme changes every year. The yearly theme influences panel topics, invited guests, decoration, and sometimes convention-wide events. We encourage guests, members, and attendees to take each year's theme to heart, and let it influence your thoughts of, and preparation for, MisCon each year.
