David Boop

MisCon 27 Attending Professional

David is a Denver-based single dad, returning college study, temp worker and author. He has one novel (the sci-fi/noir "She Murdered Me with Science" release in '08) and over thirty short stories, novellas and flash fictions across several genres including weird western, zombie horror, urban sci-fi and pulp hero. His most recent is the Steampunk Western, "Kit Carson versus the Toad Men of the Rio Gila" in Gears and Levers 3 and "Most Dangerous Honeys" for Moonstone Books' Honey West anthology (his second media tie-in. He's also worked as an MC and Toastmaster, interviewing such names as Kevin J. Anderson, James Marsters and the Tron 30th reunion. Additionally, he's had two short films made and is in preproduction for a third. His hobbies include film noir, anime, Mayans and the Blues.
