Come discuss Batman in all his versions. Which Batman is the best? What parts of the legend came when? Favorite gadgets: Batmobile, grappling gun, Bat-Shark Repellent? Is Bruce Wayne the Batman, or could Dick Grayson do it?

- Finger Loop Braiding (Makers)

Need a cord or braid to lace your bodice, tie on your sleeves or close your purse? Using loops of threads, your fingers can weave these narrow textiles in a technique which reached a high point in Medieval Europe between 1200 and 1600. Today you can use these braids as hair ties, shoelaces, and drawstrings. Class limit is 10. There is a $5.00 charge for a handout and materials.

Hang out with some of MisCon's artists as they draw, paint, or play around with whatever catches their interest. Want to bring your own art materials and make your own stuff? Please do. Want to ask questions about anything art-related? Now is your chance. Just want to eat a sandwich and watch Rob Carlos draw some awesome dragons? Come have a seat. This is an informal hangout session--come and go as you like, or drop in for a few minutes between panels.

She's also the reason why Kris and Tasia couldn't make it to MisCon last year (Go figure... “Dad, I'm in labor, can't make it this year”... we've heard it all now from our kids). Join us in celebrating three generations of Geeks at MisCon. Rumor has it, there will be cupcakes for those that Aerith's big sister deems worthy of such adoration (be prepared to be quizzed on random subjects).

Come see a display of Steampunk style items & learn about “Making Steampunk Style Crafts.” Then make your own pendant or broach to take home. Learn a little about the Steampunk genre & get a peek into secret techniques for making patina items look vintage. The panel is free, but if you want to make an item, there is a $6.00 materials fee.
