Participants will carve a simple design in cuttlefish bone, and should bring simple carving tools-think small: dental pics, flat screwdriver tips, etc. Limited tools will be available. Attendees should have an idea of what they want to carve when they arrive. Designs should be the size of a quarter or smaller. The instructor will pour pewter into the molds and attendees will get to take their carving and a pewter casting home. $5 material cost. Limited to 10 attendees, age 16+.
