Erica Pocklington

MisCon 28 Panel Volunteer

Working as a concept and comic book artist, Erica currently resides in Missoula MT where she works remotely on various projects and event art for IGRE Publishing's Sword Land RPG. This is her first opportunity to have official work in the art field of her dreams, having worked her way through years of practice and attending university. Erica graduated from the University of Montana in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Media Arts, and while she has shied away from animation, she continues to pursue and improve her skills in narrative art and storytelling.

Pocklington got her nerdy edge at a young age, due to her father and the enormous opportunity for her family to live in Japan for the earlier part of her childhood. She carried that cultural experience with her upon her return to the United States, where she found more of an interest in comics and videogames as well. Thanks to the immense support from family and friends, Erica continued to hone her skills throughout the years. In 2007, Erica attended the University of Montana where her drive and personal aspirations helped push her to work her way through college to earn her degree.

As every artist comes to find, Erica continues to find opportunities to learn, excel, and draw inspiration from the artistic world around her. On the side of her main work with IGRE, she works on plushies and has plans to attend conventions around the northwest with her boyfriend to share their artwork with fellow fans of the anime and videogame industries.
