Amber

Amber is a diceless role-playing system that lends itself well to both table-top and LARP gaming, though only the rules for a table-top version were released by the publisher.
Amber is a system set in, and designed around Roger Zelazny's Amber universe. It features a unique (for its time) diceless resolution system; and a attribute auction character creation system.
Many aspects of the system are designed to replicate aspects of the Amber books.

Basic Roleplaying Game

Originally designed for the Call of Cthulhu horror game, the Basic Roleplaying System (BRP) has been modified to fit all genres.
Basic Roleplaying was designed to be intuitive and easy to play. The system is remarkably friendly to newcomers. It is easy to describe the basics of the game system, and the percentile mechanics, to non-gamers. Most of the information players need to know is present on their character sheets. Characters tend to evolve based
on practicing the skills they use the most.
Combat can be very quick and deadly, and often the deciding blow in a conflict is the one to land first. Basic Roleplaying is remarkably modular: levels of complexity can be added or removed as needed.

Bill Shakespeare is Dead

In Bill Shakespeare is Dead, one of Shakespeare’s famous plays is split into five short acts. During each act, one person acts as the Stage Manager, and two people are randomly chosen to act out the scene. As they go through the script, the rest of the players will have to fill in missing nouns and verbs randomly drawn from the deck and helpfully shouted when there is a blank part in the script. The Stage Manager chooses which nouns and verbs go where. At the end, you can tally your points and declare a winner, if that’s your sort of thing.

WELCOME TO CALL OF CTHULHU! If you have ever been enthralled by a ghost story or spellbound at a horror movie, you are in for a treat. Part the veil that separates frail humanity from the terror that lurks beyond space and time. Investigate forgotten ruins, haunted woods, and nameless menaces.

Call of Cthulhu is a horror roleplaying game using the Basic Roleplaying system and based upon the writings of Howard Phillips Lovecraft and a few others. Lovecraft wrote during the 1920s and 1930s, and he became a cult figure before dying in 1937. Since then his stature as an author has grown, and now he is generally recognized as the major American horror-story writer of the twentieth century.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

An interesting little game that uses a miniscule deck of 28 cards, consisting of 2 identical suits of Sun and Moon cards. Each partnership takes the part of either the Sun or Moon cult, and plays cards only of its designated suit. An interesting mechanic is that since the cards are dealt randomly, it is often necessary and even prudent to have an opponent play a card for you. The object of the game is to collect souls (of either cult) and temples of your own suit (which serve as a multiplier). Rounds move quickly, and points can add up dramatically.

Dread

Dread uses a very simple system. When you try to take a challenging action pull one or more Jenga blocks, as dictated by the GM. If you pull and succeed you succeed in your action. If you knock the tower over your player character dies and is out of the game - or if there is no sensible narrative way for that to happen (for instance a knock over by spilling your drink) they are the walking dead, unable to pull any more blocks and die at the next convenient opportunity.

King's Abbey

The King’s Abbey is a worker placement/resource management game where each player has their own player board that represents the abbey they have been tasked to build. Players take charge of monks that are represented by 10 dice as they go out and gather resources, go on crusades, construct buildings, train clergy, bring in peasants, and defend their abbey against the darkness. Each player does this by rolling their dice and then assigning each die (monk) to different places on their player board, resource boards, and crusade cards. The places on the player boards will bring in peasants and train clergy. The places on the resource boards will give them wood, grain, stone, and sand for building the various parts of their individual abbeys.

Each player receives prestige (victory points) for completing crusades and constructing various things in their abbey such as towers and different kinds of buildings. The game proceeds over a total of 7 rounds where the "darkness" becomes greater each round. The darkness represents things like depression, famine, raiders attacking, and other things that the Dark Ages brought with it. You fight the darkness by keeping the defenses of your abbey strong. Players are trying to have the most prestige than any other player by the end of the 7th round.

After 7 rounds, players add up all prestige earned and whoever has the most prestige wins the game!

Minecraft is a game about breaking and placing blocks. At first, people
built structures to protect against nocturnal monsters, but as the game
grew players worked together to create wonderful, imaginative things.
It can also be about adventuring with friends or watching the sun rise

in The Nether, which is more scary than pretty. You can also visit a

Munchkin

Munchkin is a satirical card game based on the clichés and oddities of Dungeons and Dragons and other role-playing games. Each player starts at level 1 and the winner is the first player to reach level 10. Players can acquire familiar D&D style character classes during the game which determine to some extent the cards they can play.

There are two types of cards - treasure and encounters. Each turn the current players 'kicks down the door' - drawing an encounter card from the deck. Usually this will involve battling a monster. Monsters have their own levels and players must try and overcome it using the levels, weapons and powers they have acquired during the game or run away. Other players can chose to help the player or hinder by adding extra monsters to the encounter. Defeating a monster will usually result in drawing treasure cards and acquiring levels. Being defeated by a monster results in "bad stuff" which usually involves losing levels and treasure.

The 13th Age

13th Age was designed to be familiar in terms of setting concepts to D&D players, so it is a class based game with the main rulebook containing standard D&D classes. It's also level based, with ten levels grouped into three tiers. Unlike most other d20 games, 13th Age was designed from the ground up to not use miniatures or a grid, and instead uses abstract distances and positioning. In order to speed up combat the Player Characters gain an escalating bonus to hit equal to the number of rounds that have passed.

The skills systems often associated with recent versions of Dungeons and Dragons have been replaced with backgrounds by 13th Age. Players are encouraged to create backstories for their characters that give them bonuses to actions in the game, often asking them to refer to a time in their fictional past when they have dealt with a similar obstacle and how they overcame it or what they learnt from the experience.

Other differences from standard d20 games include the backgrounds taking the place of most utility magic, weapon damage dice being determined by class (a feature shared with Dungeon World), spells that are only expended on bad rolls, and recoveries that resemble D&D 4e healing surges.
