Jeff Howe

MisCon 31 Panel Volunteer

Jeff has worked primarily for newspapers and magazines, focusing on journalistic writing with a preference for sports and aerospace. Over more than 18 years, he has edited small and large consumer publications, websites, newsletters, and hastily-crafted Christmas cards, as well as contributing to sports news and feature sites at a national level. Nowadays, Jeff has turned his attention to short and flash fiction, with perhaps a novel somewhere up his sleeve. Most writing of late tends to be terse emails to his employees.

In one form or another, Jeff has worked or played in communications for more than 20 years. His background includes stints at newspapers, large consumer magazines, nonprofit community relations, and internal communications. Genre has run the gamut from general news to sports to aviation, with the last two the bulk of his published work. Nowadays, Jeff is venturing into fiction writing, finding it equally rewarding and frightening.
