L.F. Patten (Laurey)
MisCon 31 Attending Professional
L.F. Patten has often characterized her multitude of interests as A.D.D of the right brain. Degreed in history and anthropology, her checkered career has included work as an archaeologist on medieval/castle sites in England, a tour guide at the Smithsonian, a history teacher, herbalist, book editor, jewelry designer, and pottery instructor. She has also been a writer for more than 30 years, publishing both articles and short stories. Her novel, the heroic fantasy The Talent Sinistral, launched at World Fantasy Con in 2014, was written in loving tribute to fellow right-brainers everywhere.
