MisCon 26 Gaming Schedule

Here is a schedule of games being run at MisCon 26. This list is updated on the first Saturday of each month, until March, when it will be updated every Saturday.

If you want to run a game at MisCon 26, please email the Game Chair to get your game scheduled.

In addition to these games, there will be open tables at various locations around the con where you can sit down to play a game, or move your game if it goes over its allotted time. Just remember to be respectful of your fellow convention goers.

A space combat miniatures board game. The two opposing forces represented in the game, the human Intergalactic Space Navy and the alien Wretcheridians, are represented by 20 highly-detailed starship miniatures. There are figures for several different ship types and each has an individual reference card that defines the characteristics of that ship (e.g. weapons, movement, shields). The game is played on a star field hex board.

Players take turns drafting cards to make up the card set for a game of Dominion. First two cards are determined by random draw. Then players alternate choosing another card to make up the purchase piles. Each player will get to choose his two favorite cards or cards that combo well together. But be careful. Everyone will be able to purchase the cards you choose. Double the strategy of basic Dominion! Game will use cards from Dominion and Dominion: Intrigue sets. Must be familiar with Dominion.

Once Upon a Time is the storytelling card game that encourages creativity and collaborative play. Once player is the Storyteller, and beings telling a story using the fairy tale elements on her Story cards, guiding the plot toward her Ending Card. The other players use their own cards to interrupt her and become the new Storyteller. The first player to use all her Story Cards and play her Ending Card wins. The object, though, is not so much to win as to have fun creating a story together.

Risk 2210 A.D. is yet another entry in the long series of Risk variants. Set in the not-so-distant future, battles are now fought by machines of destruction, known as MODS, for short. Human commanders still lead these mechanized troops, but these commanders each have special powers and abilities. These come into play via the use of Command cards, which add a new dimension to the game. Now, the battle is not just for the continents, but the sea and moon are also battlegrounds.

In every round of Rorschach, each player picks an inkblot that answers a question asked on a card. To win the game, you must pick the same inkblot as each other player at least once, and you must be the only one to pick an inkblot at least once. Can you figure out whether the other players are giving honest answers? Or are they trying to pick the same inkblot they think you will choose? Can you throw them off your scent so as to make a unique selection for an extra point?
