    Come in costume (or not) and join us for a brief stroll around downtown Missoula to ring in the start of MisCon and announce to the usual inhabitants of our fair city that we've arrived! We're going to walk down Higgins Street to Broadway, cross the street, then head back along Higgins and through Caras Park back to the hotel for opening ceremonies.

    Want to learn to weave Chainmaile? Join The SCA in the medieval pavilion between 11am to 3pm, minimum age 14. Cost per person is $5 for materials. Chainmaile weaving takes 30 minutes. Come in any time during the panel hours to learn.

    The class will give you ideas, recipes, and how to shop for the non-cook, and the beginner cook with a medieval flair. It all starts with the right plate or bowl, and picking a culture or theme. There will be a CD handout, that contains simple recipes, and ideas. Class will be demonstrated picnic style, to enhance the learning of new ideas.

    Want to learn how the vikings wove wire to make personal items like bracelets and necklaces? Join Dame Annys from The SCA and learn how. Cost for materials is $5 per person. From 2pm-3:30pm Limit 10 people.
