The Awards Ceremony
The moment we've all been waiting for...
Celebrating achievement in genre film is the raison d’être of the MisCon Short Film Festival. In order to reward those filmmakers whose works inspire, thrill, and horrify us, we are proud to award certificates to those films that are outstanding examples of their respective genres.
The MisCon Film Festival judges panel will vote to select the best film in each category. Winners will receive a Certificate of Award.
- Audience Award

The Audience Award is awarded within each genre by votes from the audience watching the film along with others in its genre during the MisCon Film Festival.
- Best of Show

The award for the single entry in the festival with the best overall rating from jury and audience combined.
- Jury Award

The Jury Award is awarded within each genre by votes from the select jury watching all submissions during the selection process before the MisCon Film Festival.
