Gaming Across the Fairgrounds
Gaming HQ is MisCon’s cental hub for all things gaming-related.
Our Gaming Team will be based there throughout MisCon, managing all scheduled games, MisCon’s Game Library, and at least 32 game tables.
Aditionally we will set up scheduled gaming tables on the second floor balcony of the Commercial Building opposite the Art Gallery until 7pm each day. We will also have open gaming tables across the Fairgrounds where attendees can set up and play whatever games they want, including in the Cantina hangout area along with the bar.
Electronic Gaming will take over the VIP Lounge throughout MisCon, and we’ve got plenty of LARP space ready to go for scheduled LARPS.
GMs Needed
If you want to run a scheduled game at MisCon 39, especially an RPG or something that will take a decent amount of time, please sign up starting in January. This will ensure that your game info gets posted both online and in print form at MisCon. This is not necessary, but scheduled gaming tables usually fill up fast, so it’s usually a good idea to plan ahead if your game needs the space for a while.
If you can’t manage to get on the schedule, you can always come to Gaming HQ during MisCon and talk to Frank or Stewart about grabbing a free table and time slot.
You can always just try to find a table in Open Gaming in the Cantina or outside too, if you want.
MisCon Game Library
The purpose of the MisCon Game Library is to provide games which can be run for Members at MisCon, or MisCon Game Days.
The MisCon Game Library has been a valuable asset, entertaining members at MisCon and MisCon game days.
