Casey Renee is an award-winning cosplay artist known for her exceptional skills in sewing and working with soft materials. Her journey into the world of cosplay began in June 2013. Starting with a modest $80 sewing machine and a pile of fabric, Casey taught herself the art of costume making through YouTube tutorials and sheer determination.

Over the years, she has developed a unique style that often combines historical costuming with beloved Disney characters, creating magical and intricate designs. Her dedication to her craft has earned her numerous accolades, including the Grand Prize at TwitchCon 2018 for her stunning Sakizou Amethyst costume, which involved over 750 hours of work and 41,000 beads, sequins, and rhinestones.

Casey is committed to helping other cosplayers achieve their goals by sharing her extensive knowledge of costuming both online and at conventions. Through her website and social media platforms, she offers tutorials, tips, and inspiration to the cosplay community.

Whether she’s crafting a Rococo-inspired Belle or an armored Ariel, Casey’s work continues to captivate and inspire fans around the world.

  Let's take a deep dive into the garments that make up the foundation of your ballgown or historical costume. Hoop skirts, petticoats and corsets OH my! There's so much that goes into the silhouette of a gown and I am here to dish the tea. This panel focuses on undergarments for cosplay but the panelist has knowledge on historical underwear as well and can answer your questions at the end of the panel.
