A Danger in the Details works as a system on its own, or as a pre-dice-rolling replacement for most initiative systems in other RPGs. It’s about engagement and not about control. Even the Narrator does not control outcomes, they only present the dangers that can be faced. It is a setting and character resource for any creative writing program, roleplaying game, comics creator, or theatre group. It contains 500 creative-prompt illustrations and story details for more than 10 million combinations of characters and places.

The soldier ants battle to keep control of the outside of the hive, whilst the Beetles climb up to dominate the top. Spiders moving into holding positions as the Grass Hoppers jump in for the kill.
