About the Art Show
The MisCon Art Show celebrates a wide range of artistic styles and mediums, all inspired by science fiction, fantasy, gaming, and alternative realities. Whether you are an avid collector or simply appreciate imaginative artwork, the Art Show offers a unique opportunity to explore the creativity of talented artists from across the region and beyond.
Many of the pieces on display are available for purchase. Artwork may be sold through direct sale, the Silent Auction, or the Live Auction. Some pieces are exhibited for viewing only and are not available for purchase.
If you find a piece you love and are unsure how to purchase or bid on it, Art Show staff and volunteers are happy to assist.
Art Room Rules
Artwork displayed in the Art Show may include mature or graphic themes. These pieces are not segregated from the general exhibit area. MisCon makes every effort to display such works appropriately, allowing attendees to make informed viewing choices.
To help protect the artwork:
-
Please do not touch or handle displayed pieces.
-
Promotional materials such as postcards, bookmarks, and business cards may be taken only when provided by the artist.
-
Photography and video recording are not permitted in the Art Show.
-
Please be respectful of fellow attendees and maintain a quiet, courteous environment for everyone enjoying the exhibit.

Live Auction
The Live Auction takes place Saturday evening.
To prepare for the event, the Art Show will close early on Saturday. During setup and breakdown, access to the Art Show and Auction areas will be restricted to authorized Art Show volunteers and MisCon staff.
Auction attendees will be provided with bidding paddles. If you win an item, please keep your paddle visible and provide your badge number to Art Show staff. Purchasers are responsible for all items won under their badge number.
Following the auction, our staff will process purchases as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience during checkout.
To prevent damage or misplaced artwork, all auction pieces will be handled exclusively by Art Show staff. Any artwork remaining in the auction room after the event will be returned to the Art Show and may be claimed the following day.

Direct Sale purchases must be paid for at the time of purchase.
