MisCon 40 Artist Guest of Honor

Bruce Brenneise (pronounced Bren-EYE-zee) is an award- winning illustrator known for world-building via vibrant, epic, otherworldly environments for a variety of projects including Magic the Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, Slay the Spire, The Witcher (novels), Numenera, and the Cosmere (RPG).

Fun facts: Bruce studied scientific illustration at the University of Michigan (BFA), lived in China for six years, buys his hats from the Amish, and has traveled thirty-nine countries and counting. His favorite artists include Keith Parkinson, Michael Whelan, and Donato Giancola. He lives with his wife, son, cats, and carnivorous plants in the Pacific Northwest.
