MisCon Places
Campground
MisCon 39’s on-site Campground is at our new location at the Missoula County Fairgrounds.
The Campground is a gigantic multi-acre lot we’ve divided into 4 blocks. Blocks A, B, and C are clustered together near the Campground Hangout Area south of the Commercial Building. The ground is hard-packed gravel, dirt, grass, and is mostly level. There’s grass in the hangout area, but throughout Blocks A, B, and C there is very little grass.
The Quiet Campground is situated just off Russell Street in a wide field of grass that’s often used as a parking lot for Fairground events.
The Campground is a dry camping area that doesn’t have water/electrical hookups at individual sites, although water and electricity are both available in the fairgrounds itself. Electricity is also available for attendee use at the Campground Hangout Area.
Campsite Info:
- We’re renting a variety of spaces this year, all measured in feet. We’ve got 15x25, 15x30, and 20x45 sites.
- Each site costs $35 for the duration of the convention. You can set up the day before and will need to leave the day after (Thursday to Tuesday).
- You can rent multiple adjacent spaces.
- Water and Electrical hookups are not available at individual sites, but both water and electrical are available around the Fairgrounds. Attendees can also use electrical outlets in the Campground Hangout Area.
- Portable toilets will be set up in the campground, and indoor bathrooms will be available throughout the Fairgrounds.
- Shower details are coming, but they will be available in the Indoor Ice Rink.
- You can choose to stay in the Quiet Campground. It’s grassy and is far from the rest of the campground and hangout area. You will be guaranteed to get grass in this area.
